Well, there was this Pharasee named Saul who stood by as Stephen was stoned. (First Chritian martyr, BTW).
Saul turned out OK.
I think Benedict is a bit further down the path than Saul was.
I just think people would be screaming bloody murder if their was a Nazi connection to a Pope that was liberal. Or to anyone else they disagree with.
Can't someone be troubled by his past and still support him?
