Congressman Bartlett needs to quit yapping, get this bill out of committee, get it to the congress and get it passed now. Then the Senate needs to get it passed and to the President. 3 years of talking is enough. If the Senate Rats try to filibuster this bill then throw the "Nuclear Option" on them for Judicial Nominations but then again, even if they can't filibuster this bill throw the "Nuclear Option" on them anyway. It's time to get tough on these liberal rats.

I wonder how many liberals would vote for him for President because of his name...

Ron Smith at WBAL has been beating the drum on this.

This speech isn't tied to any bill so far as I know. It reportedly will focus more on solutions or actions that can be taken. We'll just have to wait and see. I agree that action needs to be taken and hopefully this speech will raise awareness and motivate our congressmen to action.

An unfortunate fact is that given its time, the speech will likely be poorly attended by our elected representatives. It is more for the television audience. Still I would encourage all to send email's to their representatives urging them to attend tonight's speech. I have already done that with my congressman.

I've given up listening to any politican on t.v, radio or anywhere else - when did one ever give a clear answer to any question on any issue?

It's minimally tied to the overall energy bill on the renewable energy portion. I'm kind of short these days listening to all the talk and no action. The energy bill is made, it's just getting it to the President. I think it's time for the Republicans to just put the bill out there and anyone who votes against it gets their name put on a big board and listed as energy bill obstructionist.
