It appears he has given up any Presidential ambitions.

He just got re-elected in '04... We're stuck with him in the Senate until 2010.

On Lee Rogers KSFO radio show this morning he had a reporter on speculating that McCain would run as Hillary's VP in 08. If he votes with the Democrats on the this issue he is dead forever as far as getting the GOP nomination for President. So this may not be as far out as it seems.

Remember that gun jane Fonda had her picture taken with ? Well : John McCain destroyed more airplanes than that gun did. He went down in two in this country and went down on his first flight in Viet nam. Some say he got preferential treatment at the prison camp I dont know about that, but nothing he has done since they turned him loose shows me much , including his friendship with John Kerry who made many a POW's stay that much worse.

Good. This keeps him out of the way in 2008 and sinks him a a Presidential candidate anyway. Unless he switches parties and knocks out Hillary.

McCain was no great hero in Vietnam. He's never been a hero, he's scum, he's trash, he needs to be retired by any means necessary.

Doesn't compute....or even make sense..Being Hillary's VP would be like being a limited partner of George Steinbrenner..

There is a reason, McInsane and Kerry are busom buddies..

Both are phoney bastards that can not be trusted, and would be nothing if they had not traded on their military "record"....

I'm waiting for a complete investigation into the McInsane/Kerry Vietnam POW/MIA commission that came to the conclusion that Vietnam has been "honest" in their statements on the manner and should not suffer any longer under trade sanctions..

Shortly after this -- Kerry's relative received a huge contract from the Communist Vietnamese Government..

MSM has been nearly silent on this matter -- while going wild over Republican "excesses"....

Right!

Having both married for money, they most look for love elsewhere:
