"Black mold. His house in Michigan, Jackson area, is a total loss."
Black mold can cause the loss of a house?!
OK, you're crazy. I'm kidding, but accepting reasonable gun control laws as Lautenberg's gun grab and the NICS system wasn't too smart either. If they want to change the Second Amendment, let them do that.
"To show you how radical I am, I want carjackers dead. I want rapists dead. I want burglars dead. I want child molesters dead. I want the bad guys dead. No court case. No parole. No early release. I want 'em dead. Get a gun and when they attack you, shoot 'em."
Ted said this, wish I would have thought it up!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeff
Oh nothing. I just wanna talk to this guy Laz who says he loves me.
Say! Yer coat's done up the girl side. :^)
Probably not. Wayne's job is to run a large enterprise, it's a job for a CEO type. However Ted would make a good President of the NRA, one who would rally the troops and other directors to toss out any employees, up to and including the Executive VP, who compromise a bit too often.
Fifteen years ago that might have been true, if that image overlayed a "no compromise" attitude. As things transpired that image overlayed an inner mushiness, and we ended up with the Brady Abomination and the Ugly Gun Ban.
Now, it's too late for that sort of thing. Any firmness on the part of the NRA will be and has been portaried as wild eyed radicalism, so why not live up to the media image, use it if you will, since it will be used against us anyway.
Well, since it rarely gets below freezing for any length of time in Crawford, moving to Texas isn't going to have helped that any. I'm sure the need to move somewhere, even if just to a new house in Michigan, sparked some rethinking of "where do we want to live". Once they thought about it, I'm sure Texas was the only logical choice. :)
That too. Frankly, having moved out of Michigan last year, I know some of the issues that may have driven him to move.
Climate. Ability to hunt year round. Pimps, whores, and welfare brats sucking at the government teat(Ted's own phrase).
The way the Hellhole that is Detroit, with it's little sister city Flint, and basically the entire lower/lower peninsula I-75 corridor controls the entire state and is nothing, and I mean nothing but a drain on the states resources.
Could also have to do with the election of Commie Granholm.
Or maybe it was just all the BS about the Dove season...
Could be he wanted a state with lower taxes(like me).
Maybe after years of hunting in Texas he said "WTH!" Let's go get some sunshine and whack some Texas whitetail and hogz! Barbeque 24/7!
Colorado is an entirely different world than metro Detroit, if I didn't have family there, I'd never, ever, go back.
Except for a Wings game.
Wouldn't that be dereliction of duty, since he's on the board of directors? Or was last I knew.
I tend to respectfully disagree.
Our opponents have been using the "radical chic" approach for decades, and it's taken our side this long to catch up.
Personally, I deal with leftists in the same manner - I get right up in their smug little faces and give 'em hell.
What?
The Motor City Madman lives here in Texas now?
I was looking forward to him running for governor of Michigan and unseating that wetback Canuck they have for a governor now!
