I'm glad someone mentioned Bill Bennett's new program. I started listening as soon as I learned he was on 920WGKA here in Atlanta. The best way to wake up in the morning.
The show just celebrated its 1st anniversary. I'm sure the ratings will go up.
Yes, this list is two years old. Talkers Mag has a one-year-old poll, but even that doesn't include Air America's launch. We'll have to wait for their next survey to determine how conservatives fare against the scintillating intellect and seamless professionalism of Franken, Garofalo, Rhodes, et al.
Savage is a liability to conservativism

I have heard this before and wondered about it. I used to listen to him, then the WABC flagship station yanked him off the air after he made some anti-gay remarks, so I haven't heard him in a long time.
I don't disagree with you, but would like to know since I haven't listened in ages--in what way is he a liability? Has he made more remarks that put us in a bad light?
Thanks.
"I would have thought that Laura Ingraham would be higher."
Same here. I don't get to listen to her show as much as I would like, but she makes me think and laugh every time I do.
Bingo! You just hit the Trifecta

The only thing I don't like about Boortz, is that he gets stuck on his own cliches that he repeats over and over and over again.
He caters too much to New Listeners. Anytime there's a new station added to his roster, it seems like a replay of other shows, where he's saying the same stuff over and over and over again.
He just needs to run his show like everybody else, and let the new listeners pick it up along the way.
I have to turn him off when he gets in these repetetive moods.
I'm surprised Bennet didn't make the list yet. However, it is the fastest growing moring show. He's the thinkning man's conservative. He proves daily that you can be polite and get your point across more effectively and persuasively.
I wonder what his numbers are here in Atlanta. I know a number of conservatives here who, like myself, go out of their way to avoid Boortz. He's no conservative, except perhaps on fiscal issues. I can't bear to listen to his self-aggrandizing bombast anymore, or hear about his Mercedes or his private plane. He's too full of himself, just another shock jock--like Howard Stern without the hair.
Dean Edell and Tom Leykis are flaming liberals.
any idea how bill o'reilly got pegged "conservative" when he signed up with dan rather against the swift boat vets?
Atta boy
"But when he came out against Bush, I wrote him off as neither right or left, just an idiot."
Howard Stern is a freak that should have to notify the police when he changes address.
"NANCY SKINNER (non-ideological)
THAT'S GREAT!!!! She ran as a Democrat for Senate in Illinois. She was a liberal voice on WLS in Chicago. What a joke!!! Who assigned the labels here, Tom Harkin, the "conservative." HA!"
I wondered if it was the same person that was on WLS. She had to give up her radio job to run for office. Yeah, she was, is very hard left. I think people used to call her "Spinner" instead of Skinner.
What I like about Michael Medved is that he allows people with opposing views hang themsevles..
He can be interesting, but he just about drove me away with all of his pro abortion, gay marriage, pro killing Terri junk. Maybe I'll switch to listening to Beck until Rush now.
Rusty Humphries is the most underated of all on this list (IMHO). The guy mixes a great sense of humor into his show which is otherwise solid America first conservative. His songs are great too (Bomb, bomb, bomb,... bomb, bomb Iraq to Beach Boys tune). Hannity is the most overated by far.
