UN Discovers Human Remains in Kosovo Cave
"PA"
The United Nations in Kosovo said today they had discovered a cave allegedly used to secretly dispose of the human remains of non-Albanians in Kosovo killed during a war in 1998-1999.
Initial findings indicated the area was used to secretly dispose of human remains, and could be related to the disappearances of non-Albanians in Kosovo in 1998, the UN statement said.
The UN-run Office on Missing Persons and Forensics began excavating the cave and its surrounding area in Klina, some 30 miles west of the provinces capital Pristina, it said.
About 500 Serbs and 200 members of other non-Albanian communities in Kosovo remain missing and are suspected to have been kidnapped and killed by ethnic Albanian rebels during the provinces 1998-1999 war, according to UN figures. (A lie - more Serbs have been killed than that).
Some 10,000 people mostly ethnic Albanians were killed and thousands vanished during that war. Nato pushed the Serb troops out of the province and forced former Serb president Slobodan Milosevic to relinquish control of Kosovo. (That is an outright lie - more like under 5,000 dead from all sides)
Since then, Kosovo has remained officially part of Serbia-Montenegro, the successor state to Yugoslavia, but is administered by the UN mission and Nato-led peacekeepers. Negotiations on its final status are expected to begin this year.
Hundreds of those listed as missing from the war have been found in mass graves in Kosovo and Serbia, but the fate of about 3,000 missing is still to be determined.
Last month, Serbian and Kosovo officials resumed talks aimed at establishing the fate of ethnic Albanians, Serbs and others who vanished during the war one of the most sensitive and emotionally charged issues between the two former foes.
The two sides signed a framework document and agreed to accept the Red Cross list of 2,960 still missing as their figure of reference. The officials agreed to meet again on June 9 in Pristina.
You have to come to the table armed with more than just sophomoric spurts of baseless mud slinging.
Put your thinking cap on for moment, reread your posts for a second and you may actually catch a glimpse of the typically erroneous logic that most of the citizenry in this country have been subjected to for the past 10 years.
The same blanket statement you just spun about "the Serbian bandwagon" and such is the same type of bandwagon that the MSM spun during the Balkan conflicts on the whole, "Serbs evil bad guys, everyone else good guys" (note: the exact opposite of your 'insightful' observation).
You just spun yourself into the corner of hypocrisy, crap it is indeed.
B) The only difference between al-Qaeda of 1998 and al-Qaida of 2005 is that in 1998 is that al-Qaeda members -some of them Bosnian army vets some with Kosovo ties- were able to enter America unmolested in 1998-99 and allowed to plan out 9/11 without fear of being arrested during the Clinton admin.
What was the nation of origin for most of the arms used by the Croatians and the Bosnias prior to the NATO counties supplying arms to those groups?
Hmmm, Soviet there too. So why is the suggestion that the Serbs were using Soviet arms mean anything?
In 1946 the UN put the Serbian population of Kosovo at 90%
now it is less than 10%. How could there have been ethnic cleansing of the Albanians while the percentage of moslems grew by 800%? They would have to reproduce faster than fruit flies to achieve this.
tfecw Where are the mass graves of Albanians Clinton and Christianne told us about? Why have NONE of any significance been unveiled? Why would you believe a lyin' PoS like Clinton?
There are "eyewitness accounts" of 100,000 dead Iraqi civilians, fake moon landings, bigfoot, etc.
"Ramush Haradinaj had overall command of the KLA forces in one of the KLA operational zones, called Dukagjin, in the western part of Kosovo bordering upon Albania and Montenegro. He was one of the most senior KLA leaders in Kosovo.
The Dukagjin Operational Zone encompassed the municipalities of Pec/Pejë, Decani/Deçan, Dakovica/Gjakovë, and part of the municipalities of Istok/Istog and Klina/Klinë. As such, the villages of Glodjane/Gllogjan, Dasinovac/Dashinoc, Dolac/Dollc, Ratis/Ratishë, Dubrava/Dubravë, Grabanica/Grabanicë, Locane/Lloçan, Babaloc/Baballoq, Rznic/Irzniq, Pozar/Pozhare, Zabelj/Zhabel, Zahac/Zahaq, Zdrelo/Zhdrellë, Gramocelj/Gramaqel, Dujak/Dujakë, Piskote/Piskotë, Pljancor/ Plançar, Nepolje/Nepolë, Kosuric/Kosuriq, Lodja/Loxhë, Barane/Baran, the Lake Radonjic/Radoniq area and Jablanica/Jabllanicë were under his command and control.
This statement on it's own reveals the limits of your knowledge regarding Balkan affaris.
affaris = affairs
