Nearly any child in Germany was a Hitler Youth at the time this man was a child... Personally I'm hoping for a hard core African Pope.. one who has first hand seen the devastation of promescuity, war, inhumanity in recent memory... not some social justice type from the western world.
I have faith that the Holy Spirit will guide the Cardinals and the right man will be selected in the end.

wasn't Arinze the African Cardinal who gave the commencement address at Georgetown a couple years ago, who dared to say that homosexuality is a threat to the family ... for which he was pummeled, with some students turning their backs to him as he spoke?
Jesus is head of my church. It's interesting who the various denominations choose as temporal leaders, but the near-worship of a man because he dons the robes of the bishop of Rome, is hard for this Protestant to relate to.
