She had been in Iraq conducting door-to-door surveys trying to determine the number of civilian casualties in the country.

So what does THAT mean? Is this really "helping" the people? I suspect it's more like:

"Hello. I'm here to see if any innocent people in this house were murdered by our insane President who bombed Iraqi civilians just to get more oil for Halliburton."

"We have a child who was badly injured in a fight between Americans and some people in our neighborhood, and he needs medi-"

"Hey, this is GREAT! Issam, get in here, get some pictures of this kid. Now, where did this happen? When and where did the Americans attack the freedom fighters?"
