Reading through the list, there are a surprisingly high number of features which are already being done by other OSs. Marketing to the unwashed it would seem.

Once I got down to the "recommended system" list, I really began to wonder who the heck is going to be 'needing' this OS. Half a gig minimum? When it comes to business applications, almost any box coming off the line these days has horsepower to burn - the biggest demand on hardware is getting to be the OS itself. As it stands now the corporation I work for, with over 60,000 employees, buys COTS boxes and retroghosts them with W2000 - despite having the XP sticker on the bottom.
