Bob Kerrey has an incredibly large head. It's weird looking, alien-like.

It didn't bother Debra Winger. Kerrey also has a stump for a leg and a Congressional Medal of Honor, IIRC.

He's the skinniest navy SEAL ever. His trident looks terribly oversized on that chest...

Haven't you done enough damage for one career? Hang it up and let someone who really cares about America have a chance.

I don't know. I had always heard of it as The New School for Social Reseach. So I never had any interest in it. I wasn't aware of the name change.

Doesn't surprise me. He a president of some unknown college and wants back into the game of politics after feeling emboldened by his partisan stupidity during the partisan 9/11 hearings.

I used to respect Kerrey until I watched his pukish performance on the the 911 commission, as he exposed himself as just another partisan liberal party punk.

It's certainly none of my business whom the citizens of Ny,NY, choose for a mayor. He won't have to be much, to beat the one you have now.

Kerrey will not win the Dem primary. He has no appeal to minority voters or jewish voters.

Its Bloomie versus Freddie Ferrer. Bloomie wins by 2-3% is my prediction. the devil you know is better then the devil you don't.

Just another carpetbagger, like Hillary. Could you really tolerate a dem in the Whitehouse? They're too liberal and God-less for me.

the stadium is an excellent investment in what has been a total wasteland in the middle of the greatest city in the world - Manhattan's last undeveloped frontier. It would pay for itself in no time.

There's hardly any dems now who don't come off as partisan hacks. Maybe they're afraid of losing their base at Moron.org to the Green Party.

I predict low turnout on Staten Island (I don't expect Bloomie will play on racial paranoia to bring up turnout) higher than expected turnout for Ferrer in the black and Puerto Rican areas, while the yuppie douchebags and the Jewish vote will go to Bloomberg. If the Dominican vote splits (or even goes to 40% for Bloomie), he wins in a squeaker.

Again, it all depends on turnout. If there is low majority-minority turnout (being that blacks and Latinos are the majority of NYC's population, though I am not sure of the voter roles), the bigger Bloomberg's margin. However, this may turnout to be similar to Koch's last election against Dinkins. Although in that case, there was the hate crime factor.

BOb Kerry is a communist. Period. He runs the New School in NYC. That place makes Berkeley look conservative.

New York is in for a string of ultra liberal Dems. That is what the idiotic NYC Republican party gets for giving us Bloomy - possibly the worst mayor in NYC history.

no way is he worse then Dinkins. No way. I didn't even go to dinner anywhere in Manhattan under Dinkins, with 2000 murders a year.

I know many folks up in Husker country who would agree.

The dude is so bogus. He is too busy playing two sides of issues to be an effective leader.

Bloomingidiot is much the same.

But I think folks in NY City would see through Bob's crap.

I don't know if they will buy the showboat act.

Bob tried to play the straight shooter bit during his recent glory ride on that panel. When the fair commissioner was asked why he did not think that his fellow commish, who helped write the "wall" memo for Reno, should step down...(as that was part of the investigations)....

He was no longer Mr. Straight Shooter...

Kerrey would wipe the floor with Bloomberg, and would be better for the city, too.

And this is a good thing because?

BK was actually a pretty decent Governor as dimocrats go. Not extremely to the left.
But many of us Nebraskans were glad to see him leave.
He fits in well with the Libs.
I think he could make a good run for New York Mayor, but he may not be Liberal enough for some. LOL

Could you really tolerate a dem in the Whitehouse?

I had to tolerate JFK and LBJ before I could vote, and Carter and Clinton since. Kerrey was honest enough to note that "Clinton was an unusually good liar".(4th paragraph from the top)

If I had to suffer through another dem in the White House, I thought he had the most integrity. When he made his attempt for the White House in 1992 he was a moderate dem. He would have been much better than the bent one.
