Ted Nugent to Fellow NRAers: Get Hardcore Apr 17, 12:32 PM EST With an assault weapon in each hand, rocker and gun rights advocate Ted Nugent urged National Rifle Association members to be "hardcore, radical extremists demanding the right to self defense." Speaking at the NRA's annual convention Saturday, Nugent said each NRA member should try to enroll 10 new members over the next year and associate only with other members. "Let's next year sit here and say, 'Holy smokes, the NRA has 40 million members now,'" he said. "No one is allowed at our barbecues unless they are an NRA member. Do that in your life." Nugent sang and played a guitar painted with red and white stripes for the crowd at Houston's downtown convention center. He drew the most cheers when he told gun owners they should never give up their right to bear arms and should use their guns to protect themselves if needed. "Remember the Alamo! Shoot 'em!" he screamed to applause. "To show you how radical I am, I want carjackers dead. I want rapists dead. I want burglars dead. I want child molesters dead. I want the bad guys dead. No court case. No parole. No early release. I want 'em dead. Get a gun and when they attack you, shoot 'em."

A Great American
Cousin Ted for Prez in '08!
Ted Nugent for President of the NRA, anybody?
I think having a drive to enroll masive new numbers in NRA members is a good idea.
However, I would not see myself as a radical because I want to protect the 2nd Amendment. Or anyone else who wants to do the same.
I would see us as Americans....trying to protect our rights.
But I understand the point Uncle Ted was making.
Fixed your typo.
Whooo hoo. I want high cap magazines back! I'm in cali and i heard we still can't get them.
I still don't understand what is so "crazy" about this statement. I have heard "Guns kill" long enough, but nutty leftist still don't understand that "Guns don't kill people; people kill people".
What do the gun control advocates want us to do?
Which sounds more reasonable...
A) "...when they attack you, shoot 'em"
B) "...when they attack you, let them rape you."
C) "...when they attack you, let them rob you."
D) "...when they attack you, let them kill you."
I mean really, which of those options actually makes the most sense?
I'll vote and help pay for THAT!
I don't see anything I'd disagree with in Ted's remarks.
Ping!!!
Amen bro!....
Ted Nugent is the man!
What do the gun control advocates want us to do?
A) "...when they attack you, shoot 'em"
B) "...when they attack you, let them rape you."
C) "...when they attack you, let them rob you."
D) "...when they attack you, let them kill you."
=======
E) "...when they attack you, slither out the back door, sneak over to Wal-Mart, fill out a 72 hour wait permission form for a BB gun . . . wait 72 hours, proudly march back home with your BB gun, then let them rape, rob and murder you" !!! ;-))
Yep, there's a state "law" that bans ownership, even if possessed prior to the bill being enacted, and you can't even bring them in from out of state, legally.

-->Officer, honestly, i don't know who slipped those high cap magz in my car, can i just get my speeding ticket and go my merry way? Hey look, Illegal aliens.... Officer, why am i going to jail and not the illegals robbing that poor old lady?
B R A V O !!!!!
Let me test your desire to "protect the 2nd Amendment."
Is our our government violating the 2nd amendment when our government prohibits a private property owner from inviting other citizens, as paying customers, onto their property, bearing their "arms," to assist in the act of protecting the private property owner's property as well as the other citizens lives and property from the threat of crimminals?
Most people would say yes. Would you not agree?
What are you going to do to "protect the 2nd amendment" and help undue the unconstitutional legislation that prohibits an airline from doing what I just described above?
Growing out to 40 million members would be a fine thing indeed. Nothing wrong with thinking big, and Mr. Nugent is certainly doing that.
