Sorry for the change in topic, back to the topic -- No easy choices ahead for next pontiff Huge issues for Catholics: gender, poverty, bioethics

I beg to differ with this "subject line" -- there are no choices on any of these issues -- except poverty.

All others are tenets of morality and faith for those of us who are Catholic and who are faithful to the FAITH.

Why? The "sheeple", as you so condescendingly refer to lay people, are, in many cases more educated than the clerics who serve them. They run businesses, raise families, run governments, yet, in the area of spirituality and religion, they're just supposed to shut up and act like children.

Maybe this is what "changed topic." I expect some are deeply saddened by Habemus Papa today. For clarification, my use of the term "sheeple" would have been more accurately expressed as "cafeteria Catholics."
