I thought that was illegal????
I thought it was too. If the voter no longer lives at that address, the ballot is supposed to be returned to Records and Elections. I thought it was state law that ballots are NOT to be forwarded. Apparently, King County no longer cares. Amazing.
I got this info about the "Fowarding Service Required" on the ballots from somebody that lives in that district. She saved the outer envelope and is raising a stink about it with the County Council. Not that it appears to have done much good in the past. They consider themselves to be above the law.
