We're not their "customers", since we are buying nothing from them. They are allegedly our employees, and they owe us.
The only committee that should be formed from the citizenry is called Congress, and it should vote to abolish this agency of state feudalism, and repeal the 17th amendment, and take the country back to a time of freedom when we were not the slaves of bureaucrats who pocket our money and blather about all the "good things" they do to, er, for us.
