Oh now don't fret. Someone probably tossed them in a dumpster.

"...the one laboratory in Lebanon that was supposed to have been sent the kits had not received any. And one out of four laboratories in Mexico had not had any consignment either "

"There are simpler ways of interfering with the samples" if one so wished, Mr Stohr said.

Sure makes me feel more confident. NOT!

> More than 3,700 laboratories in 18 countries ...

When I saw the count in the original news about this
fubar, it was obvious that some samples would go missing.
Heck, had all been sent to US addresses, even the USPS
is not reliable enough that one or two of 3700 would not
go missing. And the postal services of the 3rd world are
substantially less reliable.

Even if all had been delivered, at least a few of these
labs are apt to have one or two moles on the roster who
are sympathetic to the cutthroat cult.

Mexico and Lebanon. Now there's two countries I want us to be sending deadly disease samples to.

These "scientists" remind me of the guy in the ad who admitted he's not an actual "scientist" but he did stay in the right hotel.

Who was the brain surgeon who approved sending a deadly virus to Mexico and Lebanon? These are barely civilized backwaters - no leaders in medical research - which are chiefly distinguished by their proximity to targets in the United States and Israel, respectively.

When I first heard this story I laughed out loud. For some reason I still think its funny.

Oh, I'm sorry, was I supposed to be scared?

However, he said the WHO was not concerned at this stage.

Whew, that takes a load off... NOT! Lord only knows what all has gone missing from those labs that we haven't heard about yet.

The kit containing the virus that was sent to Saudi Arabia was wrongly delivered to Osama's cave in Afghanistan.

Lebanon!?? Perhaps some lab located in Bekaa Valley. The Hezbollah Medical Research Foundation, perhaps?
