Central Arizona Brings National Championship to Arizona — Central Arizona defeated the College of Southern Idaho 83-50 to capture the 2005 NJCAA Division Women's Basketball National Championship. Brisa Silva led Central with 23 points. Shaquina Mosley added 18 points and 10 assists, Maria Cordero tallied 15 points and Aisha Mohammed posted 14 points, 13 rebounds and six assists.
