I hate to be the first to say it but if that's the picture they're using, I don't like it. Something about it is odd looking but I can't put my finger on exactly what it is. Ann photographs so well yet this shot looks like she's a child sitting in a grown-up's chair.
The picture is the message of the liberal media. Just like the one of Clinton with his legs spread with his tie, Ann's has her legs tightly closed in best Conservative prudish fashion with "wicked witch" shoes.
They look like weapons. Juxtaposed to Clinton's picture, she looks like she would kick a man you know where.
Also the picture makes her look childish. "See, I'm a snotty little girl, and I'll hurt you!"
I don't like it either. However, Time couldnt put her on the cover AND put her on the cover with a flattering pic. Just imagine the internal fights they had when dicussing the possibility of putting her on the cover. If they put a hot pic there as well, the resignations would have been flying.
I'll buy this issue, first one I've purchased in years. And - I'll bet their newsstand sales will be one of the highest of the year. Their editors will take notice but, can't/won't bring themselves to change their anti-American ways.
They used a wide angle lens to distort the proportions of her body.
