I agree with what she says but it seems to me she thinks she needs to dumb down the discussion/issues for her readers.

I go for Laura Ingraham's style and message more than Ann's. I love Ann but I think a great "Time" match-up would be Laura's radio program v. Ann Marie Cox's Wonkette website. Both are growing in popularity and each is about the same distance on either side of the political spectrum.

Yes, that is the key to her success. She cuts the jargon and pedantry from her writing and speaking. She says it simple and direct. And she can spell and knows English grammar, which is more than I can say for some people on this thread.
