Everything I have read over the last few days has said Cardinal Ratzinger will be the next Pope. I don't know if I believe that or not.
I really hope Ratzinger does not become the Pope. I watched the interview a reporter tried to have with him on a Rome street. The reporter was asking him about the child abuse and the priests. The priest was in an ugly mood and swiped at the reporter while scolding him. This was a while back but this man seemed to be far from Pope material.
