Her lack of experience holding an elected office is a huge drawback. Some could say that since she's never really been a politician, her act would be refreshing. But for me, I don't think she's a serious candidate.

I think her polling high here indicates her potential as a dark horse. It's amazing to see FR getting behind her, and I think if she can stump well, it will be very hard for the left to effectively criticize her.

Lack of elected experience puts her in the bag with Alan Keyes. She may be great but she's not electable.
