When was the last time you heard of Norwood connected with the illegal immigration issue? I didn't know he was a member of the Immigration Reform Caucus. I've been involved with this issue for years and never heard a peep from Norwood. He's a member of many caucuses, does that mean he's "biased" on every issue related to any of the caucuses? It just means that he's a member of the caucus where the issue is addressed and would likely know more about the issue than anyone in Congress outside of the caucus.
As for your claims that you only want honesty from "our" side - that's laughable in the extreme given the blatant lies and smears coming from your side. To call Tancredo and others involved in this effort "racist" and such is about as dishonest as it gets.

Basically, yes. It's naive to think otherwise, and difficult to take your side seriously if this is your thought process.
Hey Spiff, I am totally on your side on this issue and appreciate all your great work and excellent posts. But just to correct the record, Charlie Norwood has been doing good work on this issue for sometime. He was the main sponsor of the CLEAR Act which, if it were passed would enlist local law enforcement in the fight against illegal immigration and would have required the Federal Government to immediate pick up and reimburse localities for the cost of detaining any illegal immigrants they arrested. It was an excellent bill and it is a shame it is not law.
Charlie Norwood is very much on the side of American sovereignty, the majority of the American people, the rule of law, strong defense, and enforced borders. It is not fair to characterize him as unbiased. He clearly is biased; he is a patriot!
What does this have to do with Norwegians? :P
