Who says that government employees are always needed? Also, there will soon be lots of TSA people available.

I hate to tell ya but they just moved a little east and probably west to come across the border. Since the 1st we've had triple the activity of illegals. I have about 30 backpacks hanging on my clothesline right now, the Coyotes make them leave them behind and I just bring them home and wash them as they're perfectly good. My DIL was wondering if it was like the indians hanging out scalps.

Again, the city councils of Santa Fe and Albuquerque and the state legislature of New Mexico resolved to not help CIS (formerly INS).

The governor of this state's mother is Mexican. All my neighbors speak Spanish.

I got the picture that "they" are not listening in DC when "they" passed--and Bush signed--"campaign finance reform" which does to the First Amendment what these illegals do to Arizona.

Why did "they" do it?

Why don't "they" make the border something besides a smuggler's trail?

Probably because "they" are getting mo' money from Joe Agrigrande than Joe Sixpack.

Just a guess, but I am guessing, it's the money.

But I think they're going to be doing something about it, because I don't think they're going to like the screaming coming their way.
