I hope that a flowering of culture occurs as a result of the material in these texts. For European derived culture could certainly use one of those -- if it is even possible for something so multifaceted to FLOWER in some way from a single source. I wonder though if the literary art of the Helenes is capable of inspiring us who exist in the present era. The philosophical developments that resulted from the work of men like Plato and Aristotle have come to fruition and have leaped from the source to take on a life all their own in the thoughts of Immanuel Kant and his progeny Jean Paul Sartre. I hope that new works of philosophy are contained in those previously unreadable texts.
But as far as literature is concerned, can the Greeks do anything NOW to effect alteration in us? Personally I'd love to see the prediction come true. Can we speculate as to what "coming true" would be like?

I think it could at least nudge more studies into the classics and push us away from this BS PC history manurue that passes for studies now.
