A historical note: On Good Friday, April 14, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theatre in Washington by John Wilkes Booth. He lingered for nine hours and passed away at 7:22 A.M., April 15th, 1865. Perhaps unthinkingly, or perhaps out of some bizzare sense of dedication, after ratification of the 16th Amendment to the Constitution (income tax), Congress set our annual income tax filing deadline at April 15th.

I also find it refreshing that we have a President and First Lady who WALK THE TALK and actually make the effort to tithe their income . . . They make me sooooooooooo proud on soooooooooo many levels!!
