As I see it, as long as Hollywood was making tons of money from M.J., they just didn't give a rat's a$$ and gave him everything he demanded. From where I sit, that is called criminally negligent facilitation and they should be held equally, if not more responsible than M.J. because they are supposedly the adults in this sad scenario while clearly, M.J. is not because of his severe emotional arrestation.
I don't agree. He's an evil, cunning, conniving and quite ruthless predator. Look at all of the anguish he put all of those families through - both while he was in the process of his infatuation with each boy, and after the "affair" (yech) was over, the family in question in disarray, running scared, being hounded by Jackson's goon squad...!!
No! I wouldn't say that he's just a victim himself.....of "arrested emotional development." Child molestation is a crime. He did the crimes, multiple times. He's the one on trial, and I hope that he gets put away for the rest of his life........which is what a sentence on this charge would effectively mean for this creep.
Sorry, but enough is enough. If he walks, then there will be yet more victims. These people can not be cured. Every professional and law enforcement person will tell you that. Nevermind who should have been minding Jackson. They didn't have the money or the power. They were all dependant upon His Royal Craziness! It's just human nature to "go along in order to get along." They didn't want to jump off of the gravy train, so they just shut up and let it all happen. It is disgusting.
As for "crazy," this mother now on the witness stand has the best line of the entire trial: "Neverland is a place for booze, pornography and sex with little boys." That's it in a nutshell. The woman may not have the polish of a Wellesley or Vassar College graduate, but she said a mouthful with that line. I hope the jury remembers THAT, if nothing else.
