Time to End the Jacko Trial
Fox News ^ | 04/16/2005 | Roger Friedman

It's now time to stop the madness and declare a mistrial in California vs. Jackson. What happened on Friday in the Santa Maria courthouse should not have happened at all. Whether or not Michael Jackson is guilty of child molestation is no longer the issue. The Santa Barbara District Attorney's office is now potentially guilty of exploiting a disturbed woman's condition to get a conviction. It's wrong, and it's not going to achieve anything but tarnishing the reputations of their well-intentioned staff. The testimony on Friday of Janet Arvizo, mother of Michael Jackson's teenage accuser, was alternately maddening and heart breaking. She came across on the stand during her cross-examination by Thomas Mesereau as a compulsive and pathological liar, a shrewd manipulator and a real operator. But she was also quite sad, and unable to control her emotions.

So when a 40 something year old man insists sleeping with little boys is a beautiful thing and not sexual at all.....you believe him?

Hardly. And I think I said that.

absolutely, the same for crime in general. People don't murder in broad daylight. So OJ Simpson wants credit for nobody seeing him do it. Ray Carruth wanted credit for the guy he hired to shoot his girlfriend being a lowlife. Of course the guys who testify to being part of a crime are not nice guys. If they were nice guys they would not have helped the criminal, and if they were fine upwardly mobile types they would not have been hanging around on skid row when some crime got committed to be a witness. All the nonsense regarding Mark Fuhrman and Phil VanNatter not being the kind of guys the jurors liked. The leader of the local NAACP does not investigate murders.

Again the problem is guaranteed to happen. No sane parent would have left their kids with a known child molester. So you are guaranteed to have witnesses who are warped. I would be happy to be a witness but I would never set foot within a mile of Jackson and his pedophilia palace and would not allow my son within five miles of it. People like me would be credible witnesses but since we don't get involved in these situations it is of no use.

In the one thread you're all about the appearance of guilt (Jackson) about which you have little court-related evidence, and thus he is GUILTY.

Who in the hell needs "court evidence" to know that he is guilty and a pedophile?

He has already paid out millions of shush money to several families that simply threatened to go public.

If he was innocent, he wouldn't pay a dime.

Michael Schiavo waited and cared for Terri for years...it's document...and the woman he took up with...with the Schindlers blessed understanding and support is STILL his partner and mother of his children.

It's plain to see in both cases who is innocent of wrongdoing and who isn't.

Exactly. But some people just like to stir up trouble. Boring lives, or something. LOL

Is this the Saturday meeting place for the WPPFF/Wild Turkey splinters?

I'd hate to interrupt with your preconceived conclusions, especially before all the 'facts' are entered into the court records!

But aren't you the person who disregards court testimony in exchange for unsubstantiated rumors and gossip? LOL

Pathological liars, Professional liars, Pedophilical liars..
There would be no case without all three..
Mesereau might be all three by himself..

You call a mountain of evidence "little" (that's this case) and rumors in the other case you call reliable evidence.

LOL

Just following the link you maliciously supplied on the other thread.

Welcome to my discussion with someone who isn't you.

But, since you insinuate yourself into this discussion without invitation, it'd probably be real enlightening to read all the related threads between Peach and me (both of us being at peace with each other).

I'm not sure if your purpose in this belated post is to mistakenly jump in to something that has been more or less resolved, and then stir it up or what.

But, giving you the benefit of the doubt, I'll assume that you're just another of the WPPFF/Wild Turkey splinters coming to the aid of a member of the group.

It's my experience that Peach needs little, if any, help. Ever. She seems to hold her own quite well.

Anyhow, if you have an interest in the subtle undercurrents upon which I was touching in these posts, let me know.

Otherwise, let it go.

When you post on an open forum anyone reading it can comment.

You were out of bounds to do what you did and in addition you did not ping the poster.

I am free to remark on that.

I've had it with the stalking that has been going on over the past few days and when I saw your contribution to this new trend I pointed it out.

I'm a freeper. Take your problem with the WPPFF to a psychiatrist.

Ohohohoho.
Nasty little response.
If you had bothered to do your research about the finalization of my discussion with Peach, you would not have worried yourself about how the discussion progressed from start to finish.

You do, indeed, have the right to jump on to any post you wish. I do that often.

But it behooves your status as a FReeper to post with as much knowledge about the circumstances as possible.

You didn't do that. You also didn't post your last thread to Peach, who is entitled to know how you have responded to me, since you brought her in to the picture in the first place.

What are you rambling about?

You posted a link to this thread on another thread and I commented on that and since I followed it over here I commented on the post you made here.

I didn't come to anybody's aid except the sense that one doesn't go about linking up non-related threads in order to attack another poster.

What was nasty was your initial link and why you would do that. I'm not one bit interested in reading your exchanges with others, just your breaking of rules of common decency and courtesy and so I spoke up.
