As usual, I would bet on more upsets in the House this time around, than the Senate.

Interesting.

If Martinez continues, as he has out of the starting gate, I think Nelson will keep his seat. Of course it it early and the Schiavo smell still lingers, as does the "talking points memo".

Time will tell.

Thanks for the post paltz.

post paltz? ... Try saying that one repeatedly and fast! ;)

The honking communist Debbie Stabenow is dead meat, provided the chicken republicans go to Detroit and stop the voter fraud. I have my doubts, though.

We're expected to believe that 99% of all eligible voters go to the ballot box in that rat city. Right.

All we need are people with an abacus and video camera to count voters as they walk thru the door. This would need to be a military operation with heavily armed precinct watchers to turn back the union goons.

This from the guy who had John Kerry winning the White House. Why does anyone listen to this boob?

My predictions were closer than his: I had it Bush 320 EV. If Bush had carried PA, I'd be almost dead on.

There is a bright side to all of this.
If all 8 dem seats switch to R and all 6 rep seats stay R, we still wont be able to get up/down votes for conservative judges.

Ridiculous. George Allen will crush carpetbagger Mark Warner.

Ben Nelson isn't particularly vulnerable. He's got broad support from both parties, unusual in a state that is so strongly Republican. And he's less a Democrat than his colleague, Chuck Hagel.

HE's who we should be looking to get rid of. As I like to say, "Chuck" is a verb. So "Chuck" Hagel in 2008.

FL-Bill Nelson (D) - Probably our best shot, depending on the nominee. I wouldn't run someone from Pinellas though.

MD-Open (D) - Longshot

MI-Debbie Stabenow (D) - Tougher than expected with Mike Rogers and Candice Miller not running. Still possible since Debbie's very incompetent.

MN-Open (D) - Tossup.

MT-Conrad Burns (R) - Tough defense, but Burns won two tough fights already.

ND-Kent Conrad (D)--only if GOP Governor John Hoeven runs - Agreed.

NE-Ben Nelson (D) - Depends on who runs.

NJ-Open (D)--only if Senator Jon Corzine is elected governor in 2005 - Only if the GOP gets its act together.

PA-Rick Santorum (R) - Our toughest defense with the Philly burbs going heavily rat lately.

RI-Lincoln Chafee (R) - Good riddance.

TN-Open (R) - No Sunquist type, please.

TX-Open (R)--only if Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison runs for governor in 2006 - Longshot for dems. Like Jersey.

VA-George Allen (R)--only if Governor Mark Warner (D) decides to run - Agreed, but I think Warner may go for president instead.

WA-Maria Cantwell (D) - 49%'er like Stabenow. We'll see.

It doesn't matter if Kay-Baby runs for governor or not, there is no way Texas would elect a Democrat to that seat.
