It is absurd that this mass murderer may well perish from natural causes before he is tried, convicted, sentenced, and executed in this silly charade that he might somehow have some innocence in the deaths of so many Iraqis.
He should simply be taken out and hanged with no ceremony early one morning, preferably sooner rather than later.
It would have been satisfying if Saddam had been shot on sight by US forces, but it's important for Iraqis to execute their own monster.
