Where did I say to leave the border wide open? Well looking at your comment you said One hole in the border ANYWHERE makes it useless. So a dollar spent on border "security" is one less dollar spent on disarming Qaddaffi or dropping a JDAM on Zarqawi.
That statement seems to assert that no money should be spent on border security for it will be a waste of money.
