I stopped reading at this point too. What leftist lunatic garbage. Only a liberal would see freeing millions of people from murder and oppression, setting in motion democratic reforms throughout the region, bringing a brutal tyrannical dictator to justice, and exterminating sub human terrorist scum as baseless reasons to do something.
I don't like to use the word hate, but my feelings towards liberals are moving further and further in that direction.

That the Gazette did not bother to mention that the Nation is the haven for discredited Marxists leads me to conclude that your statement, that it is one of the most leftist rags in America, is correct.

We don't need their oil.

It's about toppling oil republic dictators, and bringing them into the fold of the modern world so they can't incubate terrorists to attack us.

The liberal will say we only stated WMD as a cause. Liberty, terror....all other reasons that were given and "stated" numerous times even in the UN during Powel’s speech are completely neglected.

No WMD (Which isn't really completely true as some were found) immediately equates to Bush lied.

What happened to the idea of him moving the stuff out of Iraq before we attacked? The idea of Saddam moving WMD out of Iraq days or weeks before the invasion is a concocted and far stretched theory that is baseless (Of course Iraq flew MIGs and Mirage fighters to Iran in 1991 during the war) to them. However, oil (Which we had to IMPORT into them in 2003/04 and in 2004 we spent, 87.5B and 2005, 80B dollars in aide to keep their country running) seems to always be the justification for war. Iraq is draining our money from us. It’s a liability, not an asset!

Ask this genius how we squeeze oil out of Bosnian rocks.

How much oil have we been getting out of Sinai?

Oh yea, the pipeline all the Germans and everyone else said would be built thru Afghanistan; where is it?

Somalia? We obviously had oil interests there too.

Haiti? Hmmm- there’s a lot of oil there.

Vietnam- Sure. IT WAS THE OIL!!!! Actually, some tried to argue that we needed Vietnam because of its “tin”. We all know there is not enough “tin” in the world.

The oil conspiracist never ceases to amaze me in his relentless effort to convince us all that oil is the “REAL” underlying reason for anything. I’m surprised the author was not able to tie Halliburton into his text.

I'm tired of these idiots. Don't waste your time with such oxygen thieves.

Not to mention that oil is a vital national security concern, and I, for one, would have no problem with this country going to war to insure it's free flow to the open market.
