I was all set to disagree with your assertion, then I did a little search on Ed Klein and found the following regarding the author
...editor-in-chief of The New York Times Magazine for eleven years, 1977 to 1988... I hate to judge a book by the author's bio, but I sense a bouquet of NYT marshmallows instead of tons of fresh dirt.
