"Also the repeated use of the word "Kent" in both links caught my attention, but again I have no idea of the significance, if any."

When I think of Kent I think of England (what industries are there? Pharmaceuticals?) It also might be code for someone/something with x-ray vision who is able to leap tall buildings in a single bound ;~)

Ahhh, you must mean the great Clark Kent :-)

Someone posted earlier (I'm sorry I don't remember who) about one of our military leaders in Iraq who is named Kent. That sounded the most plausable to me.
