Hello everyone.

Regarding prolonged power outages, water supplies and human waste management, I have a friend who works at a solid waste plant. I was reading some of the materials he had to learn. If the pumps that move the waste to the processing stations fail, this raw sewage can and will backup and flow into houses in lower lying areas. Not a pleasant thought.

SNIP: Police find 80 illegal immigrants during house search

MADERA, Calif. - Narcotics officers searching the home of an alleged methamphetamine dealer found 80 undocumented Mexican immigrants, police said.

The immigrants were packed into the 1,500-square-foot home of Jose Esparza, 38, police said. Officers were searching Esparza's house Friday after arresting him for allegedly trying to sell methamphetamine to an undercover officer.
