I'm confused. Where did you read that?
The Dems conceded the facts but did so with the exception that the Rev. did not personally suffer so was due nothing. They did this in an attempt to get the case dismissed. So, they probably only admitted to complicity assuming they'd get the case dismissed. The Rev. argued that the case should not be dismissed and won this point.
Unless I'm misreading, he won this case (that's why they're celebrating and why this case becomes a part of judicial precedence) and it wasn't dismissed.
Do you have other info?
