You know what I hate. The thought of billions of souls following men instead of Christ. I fear that Satan is very happy with that scenario. I just have tremendous respect for God's word. I feel God gave us a mind capable of understanding his divine word. I have no scorn for the John Paul the person. He seemed to be a decent man.

What happened to just about everybody born prior to the printing press and general literacy? It seems to me that you are condemning a whole lot of people (almost the entire population of the world for over a thousand years) to hell because they didn't have access to the Bible or couldn't read.

Yeah me too. Although I don't think it's exactly "billions" that are following Martin Luther, John Calvin, Ulrich Zwingli, Mary Baker Eddy, Ellen G. White, Joseph Smith, Joseph Rutherford, Charles Taze Russell, Henry VIII, etc.

So it's your assertion that Catholics don't follow Christ? Funny, I don't know any fellow Catholics who fit your description - but don't let the facts get in your way.
