I don't like Mcafee at all - I only used it a few months and I couldn't stand it.
That's why I suggested others also. It's one of those "what works best for you" senarios. I work for a computer company and have seen very few computers that Norton actually worked on without problems.
By the same token I have seen very few that Mcafee did not work well with. And all of these cases were when Mcafee had their heads up their arses when it came to listening to the general public. That changed about the middle of last year and I have yet seen a problem associated with Mcafee,
However Nortons is a constant headache. But like anything else, if it works for you, stick with it. Nortons biggest problem by far, at least in my opinion, is when the company was sold and Norton(The software designer) no longer had anything to do with the company.
The year he sold the company they used an ad with Fidel Castro on their webpage which told me all I needed to know.
