I don't have SP2, just Windows XP.

Understood. What I meant by that was Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed. Service Pack 2 comes with a Windows firewall.

That's ok. I know nothing about computers. I'm the type that should always be at arms length from them. I touch them...they mess up.

I haven't installed SP2 & my XP has a firewall, which can be disabled.
