You've revealed yourself as a Christian bashing relativist. Kind of like Al Queda.

You lack any logic on the subject whatsoever.

The "Jesus cult", educated people call it Christianity, has as its symbol, a cross, not depiction of an execution.

Cannibalism allusion is just a lie on your part.

Go play some more Dungeons & Dragons.

You need to start reading earlier, like at 59.

Logic? Pick up a dictionary, he's being accurate.

cult:
n 1: adherents of an exclusive system of religious beliefs and practices

From Websters.

As for the Eucharist... go back and re-read your Bible. It was Jesus himself who said "...this is my body...." "... this is my blood...". Ritual cannibalism for sure, but some Christian sects believe in the transmutation of the Eucharist into the literal blood/body of the Christos during the ceremony.

As for the Crucifix, some would consider it Idolatry.

Now there's a reasoned response. See my final sentence below.

The "Jesus cult", educated people call it Christianity, has as its symbol, a cross, not depiction of an execution.

The cross was an instrument of execution in ancient Rome. You may possibly recall that Jesus was executed on one.

Protestants tend to use only the empty cross, but Roman Catholics tend to use crucifixes, which show Jesus being put to death on that very instrument of execution. I don't see how you can claim that that's not a depiction of an execution.

Cannibalism allusion is just a lie on your part.

Did the Roman Catholic Church stop teaching the doctrine of transubstantiation? At any rate, even Protestants engage in symbolic cannibalism. You may not like to hear it, but eat-the-god-and-drink-his-blood cults were a dime a dozen at the time Christianity was born.

The point here is that you may have a very hard time explaining to Mr. Red Mohawk why his 'religion' is a cult and yours isn't.

And since everyone who has tried to explain it has now resorted to impugning antiRepublicrat's motives, I'd say the point's been made and made well.

Nothing of the kind. AR has revealed himself as someone who likes playing logic games but isn't really interested in knowing Jesus Christ. For someone who has never met Christ, this is perfectly natural and reasonable.

If you want to answer him, don't play the logic games. Reality is about more than logic games.

Shalom.
