Dems ‘Delay’ tactic shows signs of last minute desperation

It is a sign of the Himalayan presumption to which the anti-DeLay hordes have soared that one of their websites is soliciting from their rank and vile "witty slogans" to be reproduced on billboards in House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's district and thus sink him into oblivion when next the electorate speak. Now how would any of these angry hysterics recognize wit?

I do long to see the fruits of their labors. Already we have some specimens of their facetiae. There is the T-shirt that reads, "Dear Tom DeLay, Drop Dead/ Sincerely, The American People." Ha, ha, ha — and did you get that, "Sincerely, The American People"? What did I say about the anti-DeLay hysterics' mountainous presumption? They actually think that their juvenile indignation is characteristic of the majority of the American people. But then they think the majority of the American people oppose the present Republican administration and were somehow hoodwinked out of the last two elections.

Just the other day the Democrats' most recent messiah, Sen. Jean-Francois Kerry, solemnized, "Last year, too many people were denied their right to vote, too many who tried to vote were intimidated." Here is Sen. Kerry's evidence: "Leaflets are handed out saying Democrats vote on Wednesday, Republicans vote on Tuesday. People are told in telephone calls that if you've ever had a parking ticket, you're not allowed to vote."

I'm a voter from DeLay's district. I voted for him in 2004 and I see nothing that would convince me not to continue voting for him. The Dims are preaching to their choir.

This whole business is getting to be almost scripted and the Pubbies need to know the script to beat it, which really isn't very hard to do. Before DeLay the targets were George W. Bush (baseless charges of cocaine use, draft evasion, & not being too smart); Dick Cheny (baseless charges of incomprehensible improprieties involving Halliburton); and Don Rumsfield (baseless charges of complicity in "torture"). In each case the DemonRats and their MSM shills create a tremendous amount of noise trying to make something out of nothing, panic the target, and panic other pusillanimous Pubbies. If the target is smart, stands his ground, and tells them where they can put their "accusations", the whole mess gets stale, dries up, and blows away like a two week old dog gift on your front lawn.

The only real risk the target of one of these garbage storms runs in any one of these cases is losing his nerve, panicking, and trying to appease his enemies. If he does that, he's dead. Those Pubbies who aren't the immediate target can best protect themselves by standing with the target because if they don't hang together, they will assuredly hang separately.
