This is a great demonstration of what I'd call a "belly laugh". It broke me into a smile just to see it, when I didn't yet know what they were laughing over.
The President's quip - about not seeing these items on e-Bay is so appropriate and so on-point, it really cracked these guys up. They must wonder when they sign a football or a jersey or program, if the next day the item is going to be "for sale" on e-Bay!!!
Thanks for the pics, GEM.
I got this cold on a Wednesday and saw her the next day (Thursdays are our days together) so I stoked my system with anti-cold stuff so I wouldn't spread the germies. As snugs said, this is spring break so we don't meet this week. (I miss her!) She has only me for a mentor so if I were not able to be there, I would call the school office and the staff would get word to her. Fortunately that has not happened and I hope it never will.
Hi snugs.
I cleaned and rearranged my living room yesterday and I feel like I moved to a different home! I love the new arrangement and it makes much better use of the space. Ah, spring!
Yeah, I think he was fired - and that's partly what the dems were so upset about.
has anyone heard if Laura will be at the baseball game tonight?
"Is it too soon to get agitated about the possibility of Senator Hillary Clinton running for president in 2008? Not according to Stephen Minarik the head of New York's GOP. In a recent fundraising letter he wrote, "It's a race for America ... stopping Hillary Rodham Clinton is the most important thing you and I can do as Republicans in the next two years."
Heh heh heh...gonna be a HOOt!!

Good day, Gretchen. Thanks so much for the early Dose. Much appreciated.
Great find on that Barney photo, Gretchen. I spotted it yesterday and was planning to put it on Saturday's thread. But I'm glad you also saw it and put it up today.
Thank you! for doing extra duty this week.
Thank you! for doing extra duty this week.
You're most welcome.
Hi ya how is Ricky doing?
Hi snugs. Ricky is doing good, thanks for asking. Still no home for him. It's really starting to worry me, because cost wise, there's only so much I can do. He's sweet, but a little shy. I just hate turning him over to a shelter. Sigh. SO often in life there are no simple answers.
The hard thing, TM2, is going to be summer. I won't see her from June 16 till sometime in September. When you think of her, please pray that God will give her grace. There is already a very strong attachment between us in just the one month since I've been seeing her.
I'm hoping to get her interested in corresponding (I plan to write, regardless), as we can send letters and notes to each other this summer through the Mentor Coordinator's office via the school district. I hope to use our final visit/s to make letter-writing boxes to store pre-addressed envelopes, stationery, pens, etc., one for her and one for me. mrs. tiggywinkle gave me that idea.
You can borrow some of mine! And to top it off, I have 2 teenage girls. It's all hormones, all the time!
Thank you :o) Yours always reminds me of comforting things, like a warm blanket and a cup of hot cocoa.
You betcha :o) I just can't come to grips with turning 50 though. Seems like I was just celebrating turning 21.
