Why is it that the simplest solution will never even be thought of at the fedgov.con? Their solution will be to enact more laws and more taxes and throw more people in debtors prison.

Very good. Too bad Washington does not understand this so very basic concept. And if you reduce taxation, you generate more tax revenue in the end because the REAL BIG TAXPAYERS (business and "the evil wealthy") make more investments, generate more revenues, hire more people, and VOILA -- more tax revenue for the IRS. Reagan proved the concept and generated the best and longest running economy this nation has ever seen (which died eventually under Clinton, of course)....

But don't ask a liberal Kool-Aid drinker, because "reducing taxes is a SCHEME TO GIVE MONEY TO THE WEALTHY"....(idiots!)

The answer is the Fairtax (fairtax.org), i.e. national sales tax. The IRS would be abolished. All those taking cash for services would be paying.
