???

That's pretty much what the first line of the story says.

"Jakarta, Detikcom - On Wednesday, Indonesia's Vice President Jusuf Kalla asked people living in area near of mount of Anak Krakatau (Child of Krakatoa) and Tangkuban Perahu to prepare from being evacuated."

Since it seems to be a translated article, that may be what is causing your confusion.

The emphasis on "disaster" is a bit misleading. The guy was talking about being prepared for all eventualities, but both volcanoes in question have repeatedly had small, non-disastrous eruptions.

I think a lot of recent articles quoting Indonesians haven't been accurately capturing the gist of what they're trying to say.
