Sum up - am for it for utilitarian purposes only as my example indicates and I think you are for that too as your example illustrates. I don't support English only if it means we become like Quebec and how they use the French language to be oppressive and to create separation from English speakers. The other points I wrote of were more nuanced but short of it is I want to be careful in passing laws as I don't like giving the state more power.
