I was responding to this post: George Bush should have been #1 on his list on conservative phonies

I know - I'm the one who wrote it. How could liberals ever be included in a list of "conservative phonies"? The whole point of the thread is that Rush was calling out republicans that really aren't acting very conservative. Again, how could liberals be part of this discussion?

Bush has not acted very conservative when it comes to spending, limited government, shrinking government or illegal immigration. Bush is the leader of the republican party yet his policies are just slightly more conservative than Bill Clinton's.

Jeff: When Rush criticizes the Presidnet, watch out because in the next day or two, he will turn the phrase and talk about how his adversaries underestimated his abilities. I seem to remember this happening over the illegal situation a year or so ago. Rush was heavy on the prez when the plan was in it's formulative stages but once unveiled talked about how his adversaries underestimated him and the genius of it all.
