Since babies are just a few mutations away from a monkey then killing them shouldn't be any more wrong than killing a monkey or using it in a scientific lab.

Strawman. Humans are not just a few mutations away from the other apes. We are a distinct species.

If I understand ToE correctly, nothing is "distinct" all is changing/evolving. What we are today isn't what we were or what we will be. So distinct means nothing.

Semantics. The theory would state both humans and apes are just a relative few mutations away from their common ancestor (thus each other).

What did you mean by "Strawman"?
