Gotta see this!
Wow. I haven't been to Springfield in approx. 25 years. Sounds like it might be worth seeing again.
Thanks for posting this.
Ping.
My first thought was a "Jurassic Park" scenario.
BWAAAHAAAAA!
I just new it!
Trollin' trollin' trollin'... keep that flamebait rollin'...
I'm proud to say that this is my hometown. We've always had the Lincoln tourist stuff here, but this museum is nothing like we've had before. I admit, I was very sceptical when it was being built, I coulnd't imagine why the heck anyone would want to visit our town to see yet another dry, dusty, boring museum. But sneak previews given to the press have got the local journalists and radio DJ's just raving about it (and they're a cynical bunch, having to cover Illinois politics and all), and anyone else who's already seen it has given it very positive reviews. Several thousand people waited hours in line yesterday to buy general admission tickets for opening day. We may be a smaller city, but this museum is going to be a source of big-city sized pride for us.
Spare the silly comments.
I only scrolled down to find a post like yours. I believe FreePer rules now call for you to post a picture of Monica Belucci.
Spare the uninformed pointless negative comments.
Hometown?
Abe was born in Kentucky.
Lived in Indiana from the age of 7, till he was 21.
And Springfield, IL. is somehow his hometown?
Mr. Willis needs help.
I think I like this picture even better than the one with the bunny with the pancake on its head. ;)
There is no rule, I am just an Monica addict. I will use whatever ruse to get a picture. I don't care what you think of Lincoln, you are a scholar and a gentleman. I have never seen that picture of Monica.
"I think I like this picture even better than the one with the bunny with the pancake on its head."
Yeah, that was my first thought as well.
No such rule! There should be. My disappointment knows no bounds.
Don't forget. The 42nd president who lived in Hope, Arkansas his whole life, but now calls a certain little upscale town in New York his home town, simply because his dragon lady of a wife didn't have a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected to the senate in Arkansas.
