It might surprise some here to know that behind the scenes Propane Jane groomed Butch to be her replacement. Another component in Butch's victory was the three Indian Gaming Initiatives on the ballot, voter turn out on the reservations is usually low, there were many busses hauling people to the polls on the reservations that day.
