You folks are way too excited about this. Many of you probably still have basements full of MRE's from the Y2K hubbub.
The US has come a long way since the pandemic of 1914. You'll be able to see how a modern Asian healthcare system like Japan or Singapore is hit before we are. In Vietnam they still drink their own urine.
Besides it is just another reason to live in a red state. We only travel to Walmart.

These deaths are on the hands of all the Jane Fonda types, that wouldn't let us finish the job in Southeast Asia.

Those walmart shopping cart handles creep me out more than any of this other stuff. Seems like everytime I grab one it feels a little slimy (like from some little snot nosed kid's been cleaning his nose off on it)

He is right, but if this and Marburger (SP?) hit it will kill many thousands, if not millions. The health care system is a lot better but we will be filling holes.

I agree. I would like to know how much of an increase this is from a regular year's rate of illness. It could be many things some which occurs on a reoccurring basis and it not that far outside the norm. Also, I don't know if I buy the airborne Marburg theory. It seems if it was truly airborne there would be many, many more people sick than there are currently.
