Trouble is that JohnBoy and his worshippers mark it as a badge of honor that they managed to embarass or damage the reputation of America.

Even better for this bunch is if they can cause the death of a patriotic American.

I can confirm as well that Kerry named Fulton Armstrong as the NIO, previously referred to as Mr Smith.

This guy?

Fulton Armstrong , National Intelligence Officer for Latin America, National Intelligence Council

Fulton T. Armstrong was appointed National Intelligence Officer for Latin America on 1 June 2000. Previously Mr. Armstrong served as Chief of Staff of the DCI Crime and Narcotics Center (CNC). Prior to that, he served two terms as a Director for Inter-American Affairs at the National Security Council (1995- 97 and 1998-99) and as Deputy NIO for Latin America (1997-98).

Mr. Armstrong began his government career in 1980 as Legislative Assistant and Press Secretary to US Representative Jim Leach. In 1984-95, he served as analyst, political-economic officer, and manager specializing in Latin America in the both the intelligence and policy communities.

Prior to joining government, Mr. Armstrong worked four years as a reporter, editor, and translator in Taiwan. He earned his B.S. in Linguistics and Spanish at Georgetown University in 1976. He is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

Just in case I email John Bathalor, who has a radio show on WABC NYC. He always has John Loftus on.

That's him. During the hearing, vaarious Committee members said that they couldn't divulge Armstrong's name. It was Bolton who started calling him Mr. Smith and others picked up on it. Although Armstrong is declared publicly, the CIA may have asked that Armstrong's name not be used except in closed session. There may be good reasons for that, particularly as it applies to Cuban affairs. Rush and Hannity ought to pick up on this one just for laughs.

Thank you Sloth, for the info on Armstrong Fuller. BARRY SCHWEID is the AP reporter who's article about the hearing is up on Drudge. I wish I knew how to get in touch with him just to ask how significant it was for Kerry to mention Fuller's name in an open hearing. I emailed Matt, hoping he would find out the real scoop (if there is one).

I just got a response from Sweet Baby James. They have the information. Did not say if they are going to run with it yet. My Guess is they will want to double check the info first.

KERRY: "30 seconds, Mr. Chairman. This is reading from Mr. Flights' interview where he says did Otto Reich share his belief that Fulton Armstrong should be removed from this position. The answer is yes. Did John Bolton share that view? Mr. Flights said "Yes."

When Bolton comes back he said Mr. Smith. Smith is the name the use for all undercover agents, I think.

And of course Kerry is immune to any prosecution under Article I, Sec. 6, of the Constitution:

"...and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they [Senators and Representatives] shall not be questioned in any other Place."

I don't think that applies to committee hearings, only floor debate.

Agreed, it is floor debates. Remember when Leahy outed the agents in the Soviet Union resulting in their deaths. I think he lost his position in National Security for doing so. Too bad the agents lost their lives.
