They don't hate Halliburton workers because they have jobs - they hate them for even wanting to have a job in the first place.
The kind of enterprising, ambitious attitude that drives people to actually get up before noon and do some work is what enrages them.

FYI, Saturday was the one year anniversary of the deaths of six KBR truck drivers. At least two more were captured, one later escaped, one is still missing.
